The Pomeranian Spitz is an ornamental breed of companion dog, ideal for families with children and simply lovers of elite dogs with an exquisite appearance and pleasant temperament.
The Pomeranian Spitz has a short body with a well developed chest and rounded hips. The small ears are not too wide on the rounded skull. The muzzle is short and fox-like. The dog weighs between 1.5 and 3.5 kilograms and stands between 18 and 22 centimetres at the withers.
There are ten colours of the Pomeranian: black, swarthy, chocolate, sable (red with niello), orange, cream, blue, blue swarthy, white and bicolour.
The hair of the Pomeranian Spitz is soft and almost wadded. One of the advantages of this breed is that it practically never sheds. With regular brushing (once a week), Spitz don’t lose any hair at all.
It is also important to note that the Pomeranian Spitz is easy to train. With an obedient and loyal personality, it will become a true friend to its owner.
