A little about the Pomeranian Spitz breed

The ancestors of the Pomeranian Spitz were dogs that pulled sleds. However, breeders set out to create a breed of decorative puppies that would be no taller than 20 centimetres and weigh no more than 2 kilos. To this end, only the smallest specimens were taken: as you can see, the breeders succeeded in creating a completely domestic breed, which takes its name from the Principality of Pomerania in Germany.

This breed is known for its gentle and docile nature, and is very attached to its owners and willing to serve them. They are easy to train and love to play, especially with children. They are also brave dogs: the pygmy Pomeranian can bark at a large dog.

It should be noted that although the Pomeranian is a house dog, it loves to play outside. It is advisable to keep them on a leash as their small size can cause problems if they fall into a ditch or even a small hole.

Great for children and females. You can take him with you to meetings and he will sit very still and quietly without bothering his owner.
